Obituary of Darren Jeffery Doxtator
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Darren Doxtator on Sunday, February 1st, 2026, at the age of 60.
Darren was a devoted father whose greatest pride was his three daughters—Kailey (Codey), Devan (Clare), and Raine.
Becoming Pa to his grandchildren, Chancellor, Octavia, and Arlo, brought Darren a joy that was impossible to miss. They were his greatest happiness, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
Darren is survived by his siblings, Oren (Judy), Geralda (Don), and Joel, who will forever cherish the memories and bond they shared throughout their lives.
He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews: Jeremy (Sara), Danielle (Hayden, Lucas, and Brielle), Cassidy (Alicia), April (Dave), and Lauren (Jody).
He is also lovingly remembered by his aunts, Donna (Colin), Charity, Ada, Brenda, Rosalie, and Alice, who remained cherished and important parts of his life.
Darren was predeceased by his parents, Kahizie and Lorraine Doxtator; his grandparents, Emily and Fred Doxtator; and Lori, the mother of his two oldest daughters.
Darren grew up with a deep love of hockey, playing and coaching at many levels throughout his life. He was a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, and the Toronto Blue Jays. He was also a devoted fan of the Dave Matthews Band, never missing a nearby concert and especially loving the memories made attending shows with his daughters and friends.
Darren’s life was grounded in his love for family and his constant presence when it mattered most. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
