My condolences to all who knew and loved Aunt Jean. One of my fondest memories of her was the butter tarts she brought to the Hill family picnics. We all insisted she bring them every year. May she rest in peace and rise in Glory.

Jean was a huge part of my formative years. Sunday School, Christmas concerts, youth group plays etc. We shared October 11th birthdays and she usually gave me a call or sent a card. I will fondly remember her and give God thanks for her wonderful life well-lived

I remember alll the family reunions that Jean hosted at the farm over the years and the pot luck dinners with her signature Jello salads. Most of all, I remember her beautiful hand-made quilts . Wonderful childhood memories.

So very sorry for your loss.
I recall meeting "Grandma Jean" at the kitchen table on Emery Street some 24 years ago. She was an energetic lady that lived her life to the fullest. She loved her family and friends and was ecstatic following each new addition to the family. Little people thrilled her and brought smiles to her even when she was in pain. Throughout her life she did God's work and helped those that needed a hand. She cherished the beauty of the land, it's animals and the song of the birds. May all the amaryllis bulbs bloom continually for her and may all the cardinals sing joyfully. She is in God's hands now..

We were very sad to hear that Jean had passed away. She was very close to our family and always referred to me as her name sake. I will cherish all the memories and special occasions that our families shared together with Jean. I was so glad that our family was able to visit with her just before her birthday. I loved Jean, as my second mom and Grandma Jean to my children. We will miss her dearly.
