Obituary of Larry Vern Ireland

After a courageous battle with cancer at Parkwood Hospital on Sunday, December 14^th, 2025, Larry Ireland of Oneida Nation began his journey back to his Heavenly Father.

Cherished husband of Rosalinda Ireland (nee: Antone). Loving father of Larry Jr. (Jaynelle). Proud “Papa” of Kayla, Chad (Kelsey), Matthew, Jacob, and the late Shawna (2025) and great grandpa of 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Simon Ken, Diane, Fanny, Marilyn, and Brenda. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Sadly missed by the Antone family. Predeceased by his parents Tina and Simon Ireland and his siblings Ross, Hubert, Lloyd, Cedric, Eleanor, Delores, and Alma.

Larry was the Pastor of Oneida House of Prayer Church for over 30 years and provided his words Hope, Faith, Truth and guidance since 1980, helping others to turn their hearts to follow our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Thursday, December 18^th, 2025, from 6 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held at the Oneida Community Centre, 2017 Ballpark Road, Oneida on Friday, December 19^th commencing at 11 am. Interment House of Prayer Cemetery, Oneida.
