Obituary of Martha Ellis Albert

Surrounded by her family at Strathroy Hospital on Wednesday, December 3^rd, 2025, Martha Albert of Chippewa of the Thames First Nation began her spiritual journey in her 81^st year.

Predeceased by her loving husband John. Loving mother of John (Carolyn), Neil (Kathy), Norma, Anthony, the late Fred(Jayna), Randy (Colleen) and Doreen. Cherished grandmother of Brittan (Jess), Ian (Jessica), Hayley, Amber, T.J.(Jess), Andie (Tyler), Nelson (Courtney), Mitchell, Courtney, Matthew, Shelby, Thomas (Megan), Ross, Randall and Chelsey and great grandmother of Landon, Aaliyah, Contessa,  Macy, Rae Rae, Madden, Theo, Hunter, Lawson, Lachlan, Malakai, Brynlee, Ezra, Ensley, Tatum, Seraya and Emersyn. Dear sister of Velma (George), Janet (Dennis), Barbara (Doug), Donna, Belva and Brenda. Sadly missed by a number of foster children, nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and colleagues. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Dorothy Weeks, and her siblings Archie, Joseph, Anna Mae and Patricia.

Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Monday, December 8^th, 2025 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Celebration of Martha’s Life will be held on Tuesday at the Chippewa Community Centre, 326 Chippewa Road, Muncey, commencing at 11 am. Interment Middlemiss Cemetery.
