Obituary of Matilda Rose Charles

Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 29^th, 2025, Matilda “Dee” Charles (nee: Phillips) of Oneida Nation in her 80^th year.

Beloved wife of the late Ralph Charles (2015). Loving mother of Michelle, Kerri (Mike), and Abby (Julian). Proud “Gram” of Rebecca, Rachael, and Kiarra and “GG Dee” of 5. Dear sister of Pat, Rena, Char, Marilyn, Clara and David. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Predeceased by her parents Thomas Phillips and Rose Abram, her siblings Nora, Murphy, Elizabeth, Delores, Floyd, and Ken, and her son-in-law Edward.

Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Sunday, November 30^th, 2025, from 6 – 8 pm where the Celebration of Dee’s Life will be held Monday commencing at 11 am. Cremation to follow with a Private Family inurnment at a later date.
