Obituary of Ingrid Hungler
It is with sadness that we share the passing of Ingrid Eve Hungler(Glockner) of Mount Brydges, who left this world peacefully on September 17th, 2025 at the age of 75.
Ingrid lived all her life in Mount Brydges raising a family as she was filled with laughter and love that she shared with others.
Ingrid was the beloved wife of Walter Hungler, over 56 years of marriage
Ingrid was a mother first which was one of her greatest joys to Vanessa(Jim Gummerson) and Natalie.
Ingrid had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren who she was also proud of and loving towards Colton, Autumn and Neleia. As a grandma she always would tell them “I love you more than the sky”
Ingrid was raised by her caring mother Katy Glockner and leaves behind her loving sisters, Rosemary Glockner, Elizabeth Neufeglise and niece Jasmine Srnicek.
Ingrid loved her community of friends who were like family and her Sauble Beach family of over 35 years.
Ingrid was the local hairdresser in Mount Brydges for over 40 years
Those who knew Ingrid will remember her hair was always styled and makeup was on when she left the house.
Ingrid had the gift to talk to anyone with making connections and making them feel loved.
Ingrid was known for her big heart and kindness to others.
Ingrid will be remembered as she loved to bake and cook with the wanting to feed everyone who held a spot in her heart
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Ingrid‘s memory and the family during this difficult time we ask that you pay it forward in kindness and love.
A Celebration to honour Ingrid’s life will be held at the Mount Brydges United Church on Saturday, October 25th, 2025commencing at 11:30 am.
A time of fellowship will follow at the Mount Brydges Legion from 12:30 to 3:30 pm.
