Obituary of Edward Merle Sturgeon

Suddenly at his residence in London on Sunday, August 24^th, 2025, Edward Merle Sturgeon of Chippewa of the Thames First Nation in his 73^rd year.

Loving husband of Leslee Sturgeon (nee: Harvey).  Cherished father of Nichole Sturgeon (Gregg) and Stephanie Sturgeon.  Proud grandfather of Keegan, Ethan, Hunter, Isiah, Olivia, Sienna and 10 great grandchildren.  Dear brother of Rhonda Sansom (Rod) and Glenn “Sam” Sturgeon (Pam).  Survived by his daughter Lena Weekes as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.  Predeceased by his parents Glenn and Edna Sturgeon, his sisters Glenna Shipman (Randy), Debbie Sturgeon, Beverly Zalwasky (Sturgeon), his brother Randy Sturgeon and his nephews Kyle and Gregory Sturgeon.

Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, August 26^th, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm where the Celebration of Edward’s life will be held Wednesday commencing at 11 am.  Interment Middlemiss Cemetery. www.elliottmadill.com
