Obituary of Thomas Daniel Burch

Peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Saturday, August 16^th, 2025, Thomas Daniel Burch (Tom “Hawk”) of Chippewa of the Thames First Nation, went to be with his Lord & Saviour, at the age of 79. 

Beloved husband of Maureen White (nee: French).  Loving father of Deanna (Scott) aka Danielle and stepfather of Jeremy White.  Proud grandfather of Brandon Kechego.  Survived by his sister Emma-Lou Roberts and her children John, Duane and Kim.  Predeceased by his parents Archie and Lillian Burch, brothers Paul and Jim Burch, and his dear friend and brother-in-law Hugh French.  He will be greatly missed by his beloved pets Kush and Xena and his many friends and cousins.  Special thanks to nurse Stephanie and PSW Clint for their great care of Tom.  Tom was a lifelong fan of Elvis. 

Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, August 19^th from 6 to 8 pm where the Celebration of Hawk’s life will be held on Wednesday commencing at 11 am.  Interment Colborne Cemetery.
