Shirley was a dear and close friend to my husband and myself for over 50 years.
I remember one day, I was in the hospital and my mom, who lived with us, was home alone and very worried about me. Shirley went right over to the house to comfort her and put her mind at ease that everything would be okay. The nurse in her I saw for myself many times over the years of our friendship. Shirley showed that love and kindness to all her friends and family.
I will miss Shirley but find comfort in knowing she is with her one true love Bob.
