Obituary of Anthony Vincent Morrison
We are heartbroken to announce the passing of Tony Morrison of Mount Brydges who left us suddenly at University Hospital on Friday, July 11th, 2025, in his 59th year.
Tony was a devoted husband to Jill Johnston and proud father to Madelyn, Cooper and Beatrice. Whether he was cheering them on or offering steady guidance through life’s ups and downs, Tony was always a calm and constant presence.
Survived by his sister Bernadette (Jim), many nieces and nephews, his sisters-in-law Marnie (Kevin), Leslee (Steve), and his in-laws Keith and Phyllis. Predeceased by his parents Vince (2018) and Phonsine (2025).
Raised in Waterloo, he moved to London then Mount Brydges for a 30-year policing career, with a well-deserved retirement in 2019. Apart from his family, his greatest accomplishment was building his log cabin in the woods, where endless hours of memories were made.
Family will receive friends at the ELLIOTT-MADILL FUNERAL HOME, Mount Brydges on Tuesday, July 15th from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 pm where the Celebration of Tony’s Life will be held on Wednesday, July 16th commencing at 11 am. Rev. John Bannerman officiating.
