Obituary of Phyllis June Laughton

Peacefully with family by her side at University Campus L.H.S.C. London on Saturday, February 22^nd, 2025. Phyllis June Laughton (nee Fisher) of Mount Brydges in her 95^th year. Predeceased by husbands Norman Lowthian (1969) and Leigh Laughton (2018). Loving mother of Cleve (Joanne) Lowthian of Mount Brydges and Louise (Rick) McLean of Gilbertsville KY. Loving grandmother of Lindsay (Stephen), Dustin (Mary Anne), Shannon (Martin), Andrea (Derek), Sean (Carrie), Rachel (Kelly) and Brett (Kelly). Great grandmother of 14 and great-great grandmother of 1. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews as well as her extended families.

Phyllis was affectionately known as the Cake Lady. She was also a longtime volunteer for the V.O.N and a member of many organizations which include the Women’s Institute and Lioness.

Friends will be received by the family at the Elliott-Madill Funeral Home on Friday, February 28th from 6pm to 8pm and on Saturday from 1 pm to 2:30pm where a memorial service to celebrate Phyllis’s life will be held commencing at 2:30pm. Cremation has taken place. Interment Cooks Cemetery Mount Brydges. Donations to V.O.N.
