Our condolences to all of you. Anne was a huge part of our lives in Campbellvale, and loved by all. Out of all of this, we know she is watching over all of you, free of the restrained life she lived with Alzheimer’s. Wish we could be there for you, but will connect once we are home again. Len, We only saw your mother when she visited California. I remember her as being kind, generous, and full of knowledge. In fact, she taught me something on one of her visits. I was sitting next to her at a softball game when a batter grounded out to second on a close play. She hollered "Homer!" That confused me because that's not my definition of a home run. She told me that a Homer is a referee that makes calls favoring the home team. I asked her if Len was a Homer and she replied, "Ohhhh, yeah." I cracked up then and it still makes me smile thinking about it now. Hope some levity helps you through this difficult time. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. David & Yvonne Heintzelman
