McMULLEN, Mary Faith (nee Rastin) - Peacefully, on Saturday October 28th, 2017, after a long illness and surrounded by loved ones, Mary Faith McMullen went home to Heaven. She was 61. Survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Jim. Mary was an amazing mother to her daughters Kelly (Mark), Jacqui (Jamie), Amanda (John) and son Robert and beautiful grandmother to Evan and Abbigale. Mary would have looked forward to meeting John and Amanda’s first child due next May. Mary was one of 17 children and the twin sister to Mark (Lucette) and the best friend to sisters Kathy Achilles and Peggy (Ron) Bothwell. Sadly missed by siblings Pat Langford (George 2012), Tim (Anne Marie 2012), Jim (Marg), Jerry (Jan), Shawn (Diane), Greg (Bonnie), Frank (Debbie). She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, especially Chantal, Teresa, Julie and Michelle with whom she shared a special relationship. Mary is predeceased by her parents Frank and Evelyn and her siblings Terry, Rory, Donald, Anne, Brian and Richard. Mary was an amazing and devoted mother who never missed an opportunity to tell her children how much she loved them. She had a long career in the healthcare field and worked as a nurse caring for the elderly until she became ill. She was the kindest person and was so very generous with her time. Mary loved reading and enjoyed long drives with her girls exploring. Mary’s family wishes to acknowledge the immense compassion that was shown to her and to them in her final days by the nursing staff. A special thanks to Lisa and Jessica for their kindness and support.
